Our November Member of the Month!
November was a great month for CrossFit Petram! We saw huge improvements in everyone gymnastics, saw a lot of people hit work outs as prescribed, and the coaches couldn't be happier with the improvements you've all made! As we have brought back the Weekly Hell Yea's, we are also going to be recognizing a member of the month. We are honored to say that this month goes to none other than Theresa Hessey AKA Killa T AKA T $$$!!!
Theresa was actually the first member I ever had the privilege of meeting from CrossFit Petram. I had just moved to Delaware and couldn't find a gym that I liked, so I was doing the regular body builders workouts at the gym. We met through a mutual friend at UD, and she urged me to join CrossFit Petram! So a huge personal thank you from me to you Theresa!
T has been a consistent wave of bright energy every time she comes to class. But a recent hand injury, limited her ability to come in and work out for quite a while, and I'll be the first to say the gym was just not the same. Theresa's been back for a few weeks now, but it was in the month of November that she really came back in full swing.
You may see her doing some extra stretches on the side to protect her wrist, working on preventative measures to workout safely. Or maybe you noticed the bad ass in the gym after class who was doing a ridiculous amount of farmer carries and wondering, how does she do that… and why would you want to after a grueling workout? That's the type of person Theresa is, and her work ethic is contagious!
As if it was perfect timing, Theresa has recovered from her wrist injury as of November 30th! We couldn't be more proud or happy for her. If you see Theresa, be sure to say hi! She'll be sure to charm you with a funny knock on me or Nick, and will probably offer you some insanely good bourbon you've never heard of.
