January 9-13 Hell Yea!

Boy was this a tough one this week. Everyone has goals in their mind. Strict pull ups, being able to touch your toes, figuring out double unders, hitting a front squat over 200… BUT WHAT IF YOU HIT A FRONT SQUAT AT 205 FOR A TRIPLE?! That is exactly what Jacob Becker did this week, so for that we'd like to give him a huge HELL YEA!

Jake has been coming consistently for the past few months and absorbing as much information as possible. He is not easily discouraged, and is always putting his nose to the grindstone no matter how hard the workout is. Jakes old 1RM was 155 back the last time we checked it. Jake was only using 25LB plates, so when it came time to hit his set, he banged out 3 reps and we weren't sure what number he had hit. Taking a second to add everything up, we were amped up to find his had hit his goal of front squatting over 200 pounds… 3 TIMES!

Jake, congrats on a great start to the new year. Keep coming as consistently as you are, and I know we are going to see a lot more of your personal records broken. And stop using just 25 LB Plates! Time to step up and throw from 45s around!
